Sales Policy
-
All goats are sold healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations and necessary care at the time of pickup.
-
We guarantee that our goats are in good health upon leaving our farm; however, we cannot be held responsible for health issues that arise after the goat leaves our care.
-
Our goats are regularly monitored by a licensed veterinarian to ensure they are in excellent health.
-
Health Certificates and additional testing (such as CAE, CL, and Johne’s disease) can be provided at the buyer's expense. Requests for specific testing must be made at the time of purchase, and payment for testing is required before the goat is released.
-
A Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) is required by the state of Tennessee for the transport of goats across state lines. If a CVI is needed, the cost of the certificate and any related testing will be the responsibility of the buyer.
-
While we do our best to provide accurate health records and information, it is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange any follow-up veterinary care once the goat has left our farm.
-
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total purchase price is required to hold a goat.
-
Full payment is due at the time of pickup. We accept cash, Venmo, and PayPal.
-
If the buyer fails to complete payment or pick up the goat within 14 days of the agreed pickup date, the deposit will be forfeited, and the goat will be made available for sale again.
-
If, for any reason, the goat becomes unavailable due to illness, injury, or death before pickup, the deposit will be refunded in full or, if the buyer chooses, the deposit can be transferred toward the purchase of another available goat.
-
Prices are subject to change without notice unless a deposit has already been placed. Once a deposit is placed, the agreed price is locked in.
-
All sales are final once the goat leaves our farm.
